Shelle Hamilton of Apache Junction loves dirt – racing along at 80 miles per hour around a dirt race track, that is. She has a lot in common with Danica Patrick, the professional race car driver. Both are competitive, love to drive fast and are able to compete with and even beat the men at a traditionally male dominated sport.
Ms. Hamilton has been a dirt track race car driver for two years. For her it is a way to stay close to her husband, Jason, who also races a dirt track race car.
