The Winter Institute is an adult education and professional development program of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce for those in the association, chamber of commerce, and other related nonprofit industries. Since 1921, the Institute has educated hundreds of thousands of past, current, and future nonprofit leaders from across the country, making it one of oldest and best regarded adult education programs in nonprofit management. The Institute program was designed to enhance individual performance, elevate professional standards, and recognize association, chamber of commerce, and other nonprofit professionals who demonstrate the knowledge essential to the practice of nonprofit management. While onsite, Castillo will participate in 24 hours of course instruction and engage in lively discussions on a multitude of matters affecting the association and chamber industries.
