Planning to open its doors in July at 270 E Hunt Highway, Suite #18, the staff at Springfield Pediatrics is working to become familiar with the San Tan Valley community and learning what it requires from a pediatric point of view. The result is a pediatric clinic committed to providing a full-spectrum of care utilizing both office and hospital-based care capabilities by the same team of pediatricians.
“Our philosophy is very family-centered – we will link our expertise with the patient experience to provide the very best care,” said Dr. Diji Vaughan. “Today, much is lost in translation between families and practitioners. By focusing on the family – what they are experiencing and explaining conditions and treatments in a way they can understand, we can guarantee it will lead to better outcomes.”
As a new practice in a developing community, Dr. Vaughan has modest expectations but hopes to quickly increase Springfield Pediatrics’ presence in San Tan Valley. Becoming a member of the San Tan Valley Chamber of Commerce is part of that effort.
“San Tan Valley is evolving quickly and the need for a Pediatrics-only-themed practice kept coming up in conversations I had with people in the community,” Dr. Vaughan explained. “The Chamber has been very warm and receptive to us and I look forward to working with our fellow members to help each other grow and succeed.”
