New Pinal County Superintendent of Schools Saves Taxpayer Funds
Newly elected Pinal County School Superintendent Jill Broussard oversees the payroll of more than 6,300 teachers and educational staff covering 20 public school districts and secure care programs throughout Pinal County. Her office coordinates continuing education through the Professional Development department for public schools in the county. The day-to-day operations of the County School Superintendent’s office are mostly administrative, but Superintendent Broussard moved quickly when a recurring $4,900 monthly bill for internet access came across her desk.

Pinal County School Superintendent Candidates Invited to San Tan Valley Chamber of Commerce General Membership Meeting
The next San Tan Valley Chamber of Commerce’s General Membership Meeting will be held Thursday, June 28th, from 7:30-9:00 am, at the SRP Service Center - 3735 E. Combs Rd., San Tan Valley, AZ 85140 (South side of Combs, just east of Schnepf Rd). If you have a business in San Tan Valley, we would like to invite you to come as a guest and learn more about your local Chamber of Commerce.
This month's meeting will feature discussion of the race for Pinal County School Superintendent. All three candidates - incumbent Orlenda Roberts, as well as challengers Jill Broussard and Anthony Gonzalez - have been invited to address Chamber members and answer questions involving the state of education and its future in San Tan Valley.
