Wisconsin

If you're looking for a snuggly kitty, you can't do much better than me!

I'm also playful, especially if you have a feather-toy or laser that I can sneak up on and wrestle to the ground.

Gosh I love that.

My name is Wisconsin.

I'm all black except a tiny bunch of white hairs on my lower belly.

Oh, and a few eyebrow whiskers are white too. Come adopt me soon.

Animal Care & Control officers seized 26 medium sized dogs and other animals from a home yesterday.  The property was located in rural Pinal County’s Thunderbird Farms area, south of the city of Maricopa near the Ak-Chin Indian Community.  The animals were kept in a double-wide manufactured home on a large rural lot.

Betty White

All I need is a family to love me.

I don't ask for much really, just food, water, a litterbox and maybe a catnip mouse or two.

I'm a lovely kitty, so pretty and sweet. Won't you come by the shelter and adopt me?

My name's Betty White and I'll be looking for you

Since taking office in January as San Tan Valley’s representative on the Pinal County Board of Supervisors, I have enjoyed getting out and meeting you.  On Saturday, the management of the Pet Club store in San Tan Valley welcomed Pinal County Animal Care & Control for an adoption event.  I am pleased to announce that the wonderful people of San Tan Valley provided new homes for four cats and four dogs.

A handsome, 2-year-old Chow-Chow mix

Meet Talisman, a handsome, 2-year-old Chow-Chow mix with a personality to please!

Talisman is a quiet, low-energy boy who is very laid-back, calm, and gentle.

He is also very friendly and loves to just hang out or go for leisurely walks (he is a dream to walk).

No matter how nice the shelter, it is no place for such a great dog!

Hurry and drop by to meet Talisman for yourself.

Almost half of all animals taken in by Pinal County Animal Care & Control in 2012 were released for rescue or public adoption.  That’s a stark contrast to 2010 when Pinal County took in 8,176 animals and less than a quarter were released.

“Our relationship with animal rescue groups coupled with increased public outreach efforts has resulted in dramatically higher live animal releases – an 81 percent increase from 2010 to 2012,” Kaye Dickson, Animal Care & Control Director said.

Roxie is a pretty, 3 year old Pit Bull-Boxer mix female.

Roxie enjoys all of the typical doggy playtime activities, and would be a great match for someone who likes the outdoors and being active.

Roxie seems to be ok with other dogs; she is unknown around cats.

This sweet girl just wants to please! Roxie would be so very happy to find a forever home this Christmas.

Roxie's adoption fee includes all vaccinations (rabies, too), microchip, spaying and Pinal county license!
