Chump is a cute, approximately 3 year old male Chihuahua.

Despite having a silly name, this little guy is level-headed and all personality!

Chump gets along OK with other dogs; he's unknown around cats.

Chump would be a nice pet for a senior, an individual, or for a family with older kids (as little kids might make him a bit nervous).

He's also "RV-appropriate" in size, so Snowbirds-take note!

Steven is a sweet and gentle German Shepard-mix dog about 2 years old.

Steven is good with other dogs (he is unknown around cats), and would love to find a family with a couple of kids to play with!

Steven is handsome, too, with soft brown eyes that you won't be able to resist.

This is just one really nice dog!

Homer is a high energy, goofy and utterly lovable 3 year old Australian Shepard mix.

Homer would do best in an active household; he seems to be OK with other dogs, and has not been assessed around cats.

Bishop is a handsome, 8 year old Siberian Husky-Lab mix.

Bishop is smart, affectionate and always tries to please; he just enjoys being with people and doing whatever you want to do.

You can make Bishop one happy pooch by giving him a new forever home for the holidays!

Bigalow is a young neutered male cat who is playful, soft, pretty and friendly. He enjoys people and also gets along well with other cats.

He really would like to move into your home and looks forward to meeting you.

Buddy is a handsome 2 year old Pit Bull mix with a big, happy "smile" and a personality to match! Buddy loves attention, enjoys playing fetch, and going for long walks/runs.

Buddy seems to be OK around other dogs, also (he is unknown around cats).

Buddy is just a great dog who would really like to find a home with an active family or individual before the holidays!

June 11 marks a national effort to reduce or eliminate animal euthanasia.  Pinal County Animal Care & Control has signed on with the Just One Day initiative and will not euthanize any animals.  To call attention to the work that Animal Care & Control does for the community, the department will be hosting an Open House at the shelter and extending shelter hours on June 11 from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. 

Sebastian is a big, handsome guy about 3 years old.

Sebastian enjoys going for long walks, playing fetch, eating doggie treats and being around people-he's simply a nice dog!

Sebastian seems OK with other dogs; he hasn't been assessed around cats.

He also seems like he would be OK with kids, as he's pretty easy-going in general (but a meet 'n greet is always in order.)

Sebastian would be a great choice for someone who enjoys the outdoors and being active.
