On Monday, July 18, Tammy Sperry and Roger Barrientos went to an abandoned lot to look at some leftover horse equipment. What they found instead was shocking: ten adult horses and two fillies abandoned. Although they had water, Tammy says she saw no food for the animals. The horses were in bad shape; several had open sores, all were suffering from overgrown hooves and severe malnutrition.
