QC’s Speeding to compete at world’s largest rodeo

Nicole Speeding, a 12th grade student at Queen Creek High School who has been crowned Arizona High School Rodeo Queen for the second year in a row, has earned a position on the Arizona High School Rodeo Team.

She will be traveling with fellow teammates to Rock Springs, Wyo., July 15-21 to compete at the 64th Annual National High School Finals Rodeo in the queen competition.

She will be competing against 47 other state queens, five Canadian Provinces and Australia for the title of National High School Rodeo Queen 2012.

The rodeo will have more than 1,500 contestants from 41 states, five Canadian Provinces and Australia. The National High School Finals is the world’s largest rodeo. Check www. nhsra.org for telecast times or via an iHigh.com audio web cast.
