Simonton Elementary Students Learn About the 5 C’s of Arizona
Third grade students at Simonton Elementary in San Tan Valley enjoyed a presentation by the Arizona Farm Bureau.
Students learned about the 5 C’s of Arizona – cattle, cotton, copper, citrus, and climate.
They also learned about the difference between cattle and dairy cows. Students discussed dairy products and by-products of cattle.
Afterwards, students were able to make their own homemade ice cream using some of the dairy products that were discussed.
Everyone had a great time, and the ice cream was delicious!
