The Radiologic Technology Program at Central Arizona College is accepting applications for admission now through June 30.

Attendance at an information session is highly recommended for students who plan to apply to the program. The next information session will take place on Tuesday, June 12, from 8-9:30 a.m. in Room 441 of the Superstition Mountain Campus, located at 273 East Old West Highway in Apache Junction, Ariz.

 

Central Arizona College’s Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) program is offering a series of summer camps to students currently entering or currently enrolled in high school.

Students will benefit from learning more about different majors and careers in these fields while participating in fun activities with their peers.

As the desert summer begins, the Central Arizona College Visual Arts Gallery will host the work of another fresh artist.

Central Arizona College is once again preparing to help students earn General Educational Development (GED) and English Language Acquisition for Adults (ESL) diplomas at several locations throughout northern and western Pinal County this summer.

Pinal County families are invited to delve into the classic cinemas featured during Central Arizona College's Family Flicks Series when One-Eyed Jacks arrives at the Aravaipa Campus.

 

As the semester comes to an end, students reflect on their accomplishments and look forward to what their futures may hold.

A total of 23 students were recognized at Central Arizona College’s TRiO Awards Ceremony on the college’s Signal Peak Campus.

Twenty-eight Central Arizona College students were celebrated and recognized for completing the college’s nursing program, one of the most challenging curricula offered in higher education.

The program’s 44th Nursing Division Graduating Class was confirmed on May 1 during the Spring 2012 Nursing Convocation Ceremony.

The Central Arizona College Business Club, Beta Upsilon Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Lambda, earned a variety of honors at the 42nd Annual PBL State Leadership Conference.

The event was held March 30-31 at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, Ariz.

Central Arizona College professors Sue Warner (sociology) and Debbie Foster (speech communication) presented at the Community Colleges for International Development’s (CCID) 36th Annual Conference.

The event was held Feb. 24-27 in New Orleans.

With a smile and a few words of inspiration, Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu presented a check for $500 to Central Arizona College’s Criminal Justice Club at the college’s administration of justice program (AJS) luncheon.

The event was held at CAC’s Signal Peak Campus on Friday, April 27.
