“I am satisfied with the conclusion of this case. We all work very hard to protect children in our county,” said James P. Walsh, Pinal County Attorney. “These were horrible crimes committed against defenseless children.”
The Casa Grande Police Department investigated the case with the assistance of Child Help and Scottsdale Healthcare.
Investigators discovered that Green took his children out of school years earlier to home-school them. It is believed that he took his them out of school in order to prevent them from disclosing to friends or teachers what was happening at home.
Green faces a sentence, which could include six life terms, plus additional penalties.
Pinal County Deputy County Attorneys Jason Holmberg and Matthew Long prosecuted the case.
The case will go before a Pinal County Superior Court judge on May 15, 2012.
