On November 29, 2011, we received word from Pinal County Planning and Development stating that they were unable to find any building permits or approved site plans on file for the site. The site, located at the corner of Hunt Hwy and Gary Road, was at one time known as the Home Depot corner. San Tan Valley had high hopes that the construction would continue and our amazing Skyline Marketplace would be built. Unfortunately, changes were made and construction stopped; that was of course until Denny's opened up their doors last year.
Speaking with the County again on January 12th, 2012, there were still no additional permits pulled but as all of us could see, driving up and down Hunt Hwy, construction was definitely happening and something was coming in.
Today, January 18, 2012, we learned that in addition to a dental office suite coming in at that location, Native New Yorker will also be coming to San Tan Valley, with an expected open date of mid June 2012.
