Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo
Always a rule breaker and a trail blazer, Pat Benatar remains a bold and distinctive artist both on stage and on record. Her three-plus decades of rock and roll, four consecutive Grammy awards, and 4+ octave range vocals make her a bona fide legend. Her music is as unforgettable now as it was at the dawn of MTV when her video for “You Better Run” became the second video ever aired on the music network.
Benatar met Neil Giraldo, a fiery guitarist and arranger, in 1979. The merger of their passion, skills and talent resulted in a string of hits and platinum-selling albums. The duo married in 1983, and has raised their two daughters, Haley and Hana, together while continuing to write and record critically acclaimed music. In 2010 Benatar released her aptly titled autobiography “Between a heart and a Rock Place.” Benatar’s hits include:
o Heartbreaker - 1979
o Hit Me with Your Best Shot - 1980
o You Better Run - 1980
o Fire and Ice - 1981
o Shadow’s of the Night - 1982
o Love is a Battlefield - 1983
o We Belong - 1984
Eddie Money
Eddie Money is a rock and roll icon who has been making music and delivering it to his fans since the mid ‘70s. Having come from a long line of police officers, Money joined the police force as a young man back home in Long Island, N.Y. It wasn’t long before the lure of music drew him to California. Money studied under legendary vocal coach Judy Davis and became of prodigy of his famous manager Bill Graham. The early days of MTV and music videos launched Money into stardom with a string of Top 40 hits. An accomplished musician, Money sings, writes, and plays the saxophone, harmonica and piano. He’s even been known to make appearances in TV and movies, such as “The Drew Carey Show,” “King of Queens” and “Joe Dirt.” Money’s hits include:
o Two Tickets to Paradise - 1977
o Baby Hold On - 1977
o Shakin’ - 1983
o Think I’m in Love - 1983
o I Wanna Go Back - 1986
o Take Me Home Tonight - 1986
