Project Bridge Family Assistance Program, Inc. started four years ago as an outreach program of the Florence Unified School District, but recently incorporated and achieved 501(c)(3) status as its own entity. Programs include clothing, shoe and food banks, back-to-school assistance, Christmas sponsorship and temporary emergency financial aid. All programs rely on the generous donations of individuals, organizations and businesses.
The mission of Project Bridge is to “bridge the gap in times of family economic crisis, so that academic opportunity continues, unimpeded, for all children, despite environmental challenges.”
