Important information from PCSO re: Donation Jar Thefts

by: Elias Johnson - PCSO

On 7/22/2012 a theft occurred inside the Walgreens located at 3111 West Hunt Highway.  A male subject walked into the store and left after taking a donation jar intended for a local 7-year-old STV girl battling cancer.  We're calling this Suspect #1

On 8/6/2012 a theft occurred at the same Walgreens after two male suspects walked into the store and, within minutes, ran out carrying two cases of beer.  We're calling this Suspect #2 and Suspect #3.

On 8/9/2012 a theft occurred inside the Walgreens located at 333 East Hunt Highway (off Bella Vista). Suspect #2 walked into the store and sections later, walked out taking a similar donation jar.  In this case, a silver vehicle with custom wheels was waiting for the fleeing subject who ran as the clerk witnessed the theft and acknowledged the crime.

In both donation theft cases, the jars were left next to the cash register.

The donation jars were placed in the stores by the 7-year-old's parents who use the money to cover food expenses.  Her picture and purpose for the funds were clearly marked on the containers.

Any help in locating the suspects who faces theft charges is appreciated.  Please call PCSO at (520)866-5111 with any information
