Jack is a Christian, a loving father and grandfather and has dedicated most of his adult life to working with Pinal County’s youngsters, from being a DARE/school resource officer to serving 10-plus years on the Apache Junction Boys & Girls Club Board of Directors. Jack has made a positive difference in the lives of hundreds if not thousands of Pinal County’s kids.
Jack told me in 2000 that some day he wanted to be the Pinal County sheriff. Over the following decade, Jack has sought out training, education, command positions and elected positions that would prepare him to be our next Pinal County sheriff.
Jack will bring community policing back to the Sheriff’s Office and will put deputies back in schools to protect our kids. He will expand the use of the posse, increase the number of reserve officers, reduce the bloated political appointee administrative staff and non-responder vehicles and put more resources back on the street fighting crime once again in your neighborhood. Jack will be mindful of our tax dollars. He will be a great sheriff who has moral courage, fiber and backbone.
Jack is a man that I trust, and so can you. He is someone who can be trusted with the public’s money. That is why I and the thousands of officers who make up the Arizona Fraternal Order of Police, along with the firefighters and other emergency professionals, are supporting Jack McClaren for Pinal County sheriff, because we know him.
