Former Queen Creek Mayor Endorses Arnson for Sheriff

by: Derek For Sheriff Committee

Today, former Queen Creek Mayor Art Sanders endorsed Derek Arnson for Pinal County Sheriff.  Sanders was elected mayor in June 2006, and served until June of 2010.  As mayor, Sanders served on the Regional Council of Maricopa Association of Governments, and was chairman of the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport Authority Board of Directors.

“I am honored to endorse Derek Arnson for Pinal County sheriff,” Sanders said.  “I have known Derek since he was a boy scout.  I know of his values and his commitment to family and country.  For many years I have watched him make hard decisions with integrity, serving and protecting the public without a personal agenda.  His integrity, dedication, and commitment to the law is exactly what Pinal County needs.”

“I am honored to have the support of former Mayor Sanders,” said Arnson.  “It is time for the citizens of Pinal County to have a sheriff that puts their needs first.”
