Portions of Ellsworth Road to close on April 18, 19 for improvements

by: Town of Queen Creek

As part of the Ellsworth Road Interim Improvement Project, construction crews are scheduled to slurry seal and stripe Ellsworth Road from north of the Ocotillo Road intersection to south of the Rittenhouse Road intersection from April 18-20.

On Wednesday, April 18 from approximately 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m., Ellsworth Road will be closed from Ocotillo Road to just north of the Victoria Lane intersection to slurry seal this section of the road. Businesses will have access from their Ocotillo Road entrances or, for the Queen Creek Library, from Ellsworth Loop Road.

On Thursday, April 19 from approximately 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m., Ellsworth Road will be closed between Victoria Lane and Rittenhouse Road to slurry seal this section of the road. Businesses will have access from their entrances on Heritage Loop Road, Rittenhouse Road, Ellsworth Loop Road or Maya Road as applicable.

On Friday, April 20, striping will take place for the entire stretch of Ellsworth Road from Ocotillo Road to Rittenhouse Road. Ellsworth Road will remain open for travel with restrictions for this activity, and emergency access will be maintained at all times.

Questions and comments about the Ellsworth Road Interim Improvement Project may be directed to the project hotline at 480-898-4090.
