Here is a good recipe for chicken.
- 1-2 boneless skinless chicken breast
- 4-6 oz. egg noodles (I prefer homemade but used the store bought)
- 1 can chicken broth (small can)
- 1/2-1 teaspoon parsley
- 1 can of biscuits
- dash of pepper
Slow cook the chicken in a crock pot until it is done. Set out to cool. Cook the noodles per package directions but noodles should be firm. Drain the noodles. In a casserole dish, shred the chicken, add the chicken broth, noodles, parsley and pepper. Mix. You may have to add water to bring the mixture up to 1 inch from the top of the dish. The mixture should be near soup consistancy. Place the biscuits on top to cover the whole mix.
Cook per the directions on the biscuit package. When biscuits are done, remove from oven, carefully turn the biscuits over and cook again per biscuit directions. When done serve.
