Mr. Reischl earned his Bachelor of Science in Science Education at the secondary level with a double major in Biology and Education in 2005 where he graduated with honors and was selected as the outstanding student in Science Education. Marques earned his Master’s Degree in Leadership in 2008 with a 3.70 GPA. Most recently, Coach Reischl has worked as Assistant Coach, Special Teams Coordinator, and Passing Coordinator at Basha High School located in Chandler, Arizona. He played an important role with Basha this past season as the team averaged 254 yards passing, 186 yards rushing, and 45.2 points a game. Coach Reischl was also a part of the 2010 staff that was Central Region Champions with a 9-2 record while qualifying for the 5A-I playoffs.
Mr. Reischl was a four year letterman as quarterback at Western New Mexico University (2001-2005). In addition to being a member of the football team, Marques was also a member of the basketball team
and tennis team at WNMU. Coach Reischl played for the San Angelo Stampede of the National Indoor Football League in 2006. He served as a wide receivers coach for the NCAA Division II All-Star Game at the Valero Cactus Bowl in 2008 and was noted as the Independent Football Player of the Week in 2004.
Coach Reischl has been responsible for helping many student-athletes become very successful.
Marques coached Rod Windsor who is currently a wide receiver with the Cleveland Browns. As a part of Mr. Reischl’s wide receiver core, Mr. Winsor was third in the nation in receiving in 2007 earning him all- conference recognition and the honor of playing in two senior bowl games – East Coast Bowl and Cactus Bowl. Coach Reischl has also coached other talented athletes such as John Means at Western New Mexico University in 2008 and Nate Phillips at Basha High School in 2011.
