San Tan Foothills High School Golf Tournament a Huge Success

by: Rodger Schenks, Coach, San Tan Foothills High School

San Tan Foothills High School’s 3rd Annual Golf Tournament was a huge success and fun for all who participated.  Superstition Springs Golf Course in Mesa was filled on a recent Saturday with San Tan Foothills High supporters.

A crowd of more than 50 golfers enjoyed an entertaining day with friends while enjoying delicious food, great prizes, fabulous awards, and great camaraderie.

A very special “Thank You” goes out to Barro’s Pizza, Mike Conrad of Wal-Mart, Subway, Delta Diversified Enterprises, Essco Wholesale Electric, A-1 Hand Handyman Bruce Cote, San Tan Eye-care, and Queen Creek Pop Warner, for being generous corporate sponsors.  Additional gratitude goes out to the numerous tee/green sponsors who supported the school with donations, as well as to Robert Edwards and the other behind-the-scene helpers for their long hours and dedication to making this event a great success.

Together these generous golfers, sponsors, donors, and volunteers helped to build a brighter tomorrow in our community.  All funds raised at the event will help cover the costs of providing quality equipment for current and future students at San Tan Foothills High School.  It is heartwarming to see everyone working together in the spirit of giving at this event. The generosity shown is a true testimony to the character of this giving community.

I would personally like to take this time and say “Thank You for attending the Sabercat Golf Tournament.”  As coaching staff, we would like to show our deep appreciation and express our gratitude for your support. Your generosity helps to make a difference in the lives of our players at San Tan Foothills.
