Wolverines Host Desert Middle School Athletic League Baseball and Softball Tournament

Saturday, October 6, 2012 was an exciting day for Mountain Vista Middle School.  They were honored to host the Championship Tournament for the Desert Middle School Athletic League.

 

The teams competed for the championship title starting at 8:00 AM.  The Wolverine Softball team was defeated by Maricopa Wells in a close game.  The Wolverine Baseball team played in the championship game and was defeated, losing to the undefeated Cactus Canyon Cougars.

A special “THANKS” to Coach Loren Erich for lining the fields for each game and making sure there was plenty of ice cold water for the visiting teams.  The Wolverines would like to thank the Mountain Vista Middle School’s coaching staff for making the day special for them!

Congratulations to the Cactus Canyon Cougars who took home the trophies in both softball and baseball for the 2012 season.  Way to go Cougars!
