Secrets of The Dark Knight Rises, Avengers and Spider-Man Exposed! Top Spoilers at Toy Fair 2012

Fanboys eager for the latest scoop on The Dark Knight Rises[1], The Avengers[2], and The Amazing Spider-Man[3] need look no further than Toy Fair 2012.

E! News checked out this year's confab, the toy industry's annual gathering in New York City, to see what we could glean from this summer's highly anticipated blockbusters. (Here's one thing: Batman baddie  Bane's still a badass in miniature).

Make of it what you will, dear reader. But note, there are spoilers ahead!

Batcave Toy

Holy Plot Point, Batman! Director Christopher Nolan[5] has done a good job keeping all the major plot points of The Dark Knight Rises—the third and final chapter in his critically acclaimed Batman trilogy—from leaking out. But Lego has dropped a few clues as to what film geeks can expect, unveiling a drilling machine that the Caped Crusader's archenemy, the genius terrorist Bane, supposedly uses to penetrate the Batcave—or at least the toy maker's version of it. Then again, the set does feature elements from the classic '60s TV series and old school Robin, whom as far as we know, isn't featured in Nolan's upcoming epic.

He Want Bat Away: The new Batwing and Batpod vehicles have a similar feel to the Tumbler out of Batman Begins, especially in the way the Caped Crusader hunches over face first. We wonder what the Batwing transforms into: the Batcopter?

It Figures: Mattel is unleashing The Dark Knight Rises villain as well as the first glimpse of its action-figure version of Anne Hathaway[6]'s Catwoman. Meow!

Loki Here! Lego previews a pivotal scene from The Avengers movie set for release on May 4. Thor's dastardly brother and nemesis, Loki, busts out of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s headquarters with the all-powerful Cosmic Cube. The set comes with minifigures of Iron Man, Loki and Hawkeye. Plus, Captain America takes his bike out for a spin: Let's hope he returns to stop Loki before he takes over the world!

Oh, Spear Me: The evildoer Loki shows off his Cosmic Spear, which surely means things are about to go awry.

An Arrow Escape? In this supercool Avengers Helicarrier set, the Hulk and Thor finally manage to capture Loki, while Hawkeye stands at the ready with his bow and arrows, ready to leap into the jet fighter at a moment's notice.

Wrist-Taking Activities: Andrew Garfield[9] takes over the role of Peter Parker and his arachnid alterego in The Amazing Spiderman. And unlike Spider-Man's organic web-spinning abilities in Sam Raimi[10]'s trilogy, this mechanical version adheres more closer to comic book lore. And so does Hasbro's Mega Blaster Web shooter with glove, which mimics Spidey's web shooters in the new flick. Not only will it enable toy fans to do whatever a spider can, but the fun never stops as wannabe webslingers can shoot a "web" string at mom and dad. Well, it'll stop if you actually hit mom or dad, but you get the idea.

Scaly Model: He's big, he's bad, he's green! Spider-Man's legendary foe, The Lizard, aka Dr. Curt Connors, has a secret or two concerning the fate of Peter Parker's parents—including the question of what happened to his iconic lab coat. Still, thanks to Hasbro, we know have an inkling of what to expect July 3 when the much-hyped reboot hits theaters.
