“Best Friends” is the story of two young girls, Jade Sanders (Nicole Criss) and Amy Henderson (Jewel Brown) who take a leap of faith and decide to chase their dreams of Hollywood stardom. One is an introvert who escapes her shyness through acting; the other a rambunctious singer with a golden voice. After several attempts they convince their parents to move to LA for the summer. If they succeed in their selected craft, they will move permanently. Upon their arrival they experience the ups and downs of the Hollywood media circus, but through it all they have their families and most importantly, each other.
"I actually came up with the show idea when I discovered, Nicole's best friend, Jewel could sing in a YouTube video. I thought this would make for a great Disney or ABC Family series. I am very excited about all the positive feedback we are already receiving and I look forward to delivering a great new show for all the kids to enjoy", says director/producer Nancy Criss.

Best Friends is reaching out to the community for support in order to keep indie film-making alive in Arizona. We have launched a funding campaign for 3 of our projects to film in AZ (http://www.indiegogo.com/nandarent?a=14919) and we are excited to be filming this new series right here in STV but we need your help. We are reaching out to the community if they have any household items that they can donate to the show would be fantastic and remember think Disney style. We are looking for bright items to dress the girls bedroom, living room and dining room that will be filmed here in STV.
