There is no charge to attend the event which is open to the public. The menu for the complimentary reception will feature a Southwest theme concocted by Central Arizona College’s culinary arts students that will be served passed hors d’oeuvres style. The menu will include:
- Sonora Salad
- Empanadas
- Chorizo and Potato Quesadillas
- Mexican Tea Cakes
- Fresh Fruit Skewers
- Punch
CAC’s Visual Arts Gallery is located in the Student Services Building (Building M, Clock Tower) on the college’s Signal Peak Campus (8470 N. Overfield Road, Coolidge, AZ 85128). The gallery is open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m.-8 p.m., except for holidays, and on Fridays from 8 a.m.-6 p.m.
Galbreath received his undergraduate degree in visual arts from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh and Point Park College, as well as a master of divinity degree from Alliance Theological Seminary in 1994. Influences from his lifelong career in graphic design can be seen in his use of color and texture as the medium of communication.
