The walk begins at 9:30 am and there is a 3-mile route around the Poston Butte Golf Course located in the community. An alternate 1 mile route is also available. Festivities after the walk include the famous “Pink Duck Race” Raffle for amazing prizes donated by local businesses, including a flat screen TV!
There will be a short survivor recognition ceremony to honor and celebrate those who have fought and beat this terrible disease. A FREE lunch will be provided after the walk, sponsored by The Groundskeeper.
The Del Webb Goes Pink event at Anthem is supported by the Florence Hospital at Anthem, AAM, AZ Public Safety Foundation, Mount Athos Restaurant, Wealth Management Consultants, Enterprise Technology Services, Affinity Physical Therapy and American Family Insurance. Registrations are being accepted prior to the walk.
Adults are $20 and include a commemorative 5th Annual Del Webb Goes Pink t-shirt. Children 12 and under are $10 and do not include a shirt. 50/50 Raffle tickets are also being sold for 1 ticket = $10; 2 tickets = $15 or 3 tickets for $20. Those that wish to be entered in the Pink Duck Race Raffle may purchase their “duck” ticket at 1 ticket for $3 or 5 tickets for $10.
