Ironwood offers free class for new dads

Banner Ironwood Medical Center will offer a free class for expecting fathers and grandfathers, “Pit Crew Training for New Dads,” from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 15, at the hospital, 37000 N. Gantzel Road. 

Fathers learn diapering, swaddling and tips for the care of a newborn. The course also covers the ways dads can help during pregnancy, delivery and post-partum. Participants should bring a doll or stuffed animal to class.

Registration is required. To register, call 602-230-CARE (2273).
