Letter to the Editor: Cavanaugh Corruption

In board meetings he states "where there's smoke there's fire" and overuses the phrase "failure analysis".

Let's do all three where Mr. Cavanaugh is concerned, shall we? A self-described home grown software-guy-now-supervisor, allegedly running amok in the ceiling of an Election Office over a weekend. Let's have Law Enforcement "catch up" with him. Hiring a lawyer for his own personal office staff with an appallingly overstated job title. Expanding his District staff nearly 3 fold. Spending over half a million dollars with no perceptible benefit to anyone save perhaps himself and his bragging rights at cocktail parties. Remember, this is the same fellow who insisted we turn down vaccine grants needed especially for the poor and elderly of our County. I say we have County Finance and Legal "catch up" with him, too.

Mr. Kevin Cavanaugh, who went after our own Sheriff and Legislator with an overheated House Ethics complaint over his perception of a $235 donation. In the past year, he has had to head-line grab with repeated calls for Ethics Committees and Audits, when the very person we should all be reviewing the ethics and financials of is right under our noses. Mr. Cavanaugh has overused his sleight-of-hand so that the County Attorney looks at others and apparently not at him. You bet a "Failure Analysis" is needed. It is high time the honest citizens of Pinal County "catch up" with Kevin Cavanaugh. His, appears to be the very definition of corruption. Cavanaugh Corruption.
