It was a momentous day for San Tan Valley and Pinal County Elected Officials and staff, with the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new San Tan Valley Complex.

The $16 million building, located alongside the Central Arizona College facility on Bella Vista Road, comprises a North and South Building.

The North Building includes new satellite offices for the Assessor, Recorder, Treasurer, and Development Services, as well as the Clerk of the Court. The Sheriff's Office and District 2 Supervisor Mike Goodman will be vacating their existing rented facilities in San Tan Valley and relocating to the new facility by the end of May. The building also includes a large Conference Room which will be used to hold community meetings. These facilities will begin opening to the public in May.

Work is continuing on the South Building, which includes a Public Library and a Family Advocacy Center. The South Building is expected to be completed in May, with the Library hopefully opening at some point in June.
