The Mesa Marathon's 10-Year Anniversary
The Mesa Marathon is proud to announce its new presenting sponsor Mountain Vista Medical Center, a Steward Family Hospital and Mesa's premier hospital.
The Mesa Marathon presented by Mountain Vista Medical Center will commence on February 12, 2022."We are very excited to be a part of the 10th Anniversary of the Mesa Marathon," said Damon Brown, Steward Health Care Arizona Market President and Mountain Vista Hospital and Florence Hospital President. "We are committed to helping Mesa and the rest of the East Valley community live well and make their health and wellbeing a priority."
Mountain Vista Medical Center is a 178-bed, state-of-the-art hospital that offers level III emergency care and is both stroke and chest pain accredited. The facility provides services for a broad range of medical conditions including heart care, advanced surgical procedures, orthopedics, breast care, maternity care and women's services.

The celebration of the Mesa Marathon's 10-year anniversary is welcome news to the 10,000 race participants who were unable to attend the event in 2021 due to cancellation in regards to the coronavirus pandemic. In conjunction with Mountain Vista Medical Center, the Mesa Marathon will be adding some perks for runners and spectators to commemorate this 10-year milestone and welcome back the historic event.
The Mesa Marathon presented by Mountain Vista Medical Center welcomes runners of all ages and skill levels. Distances of a full marathon (26.2 miles), half marathon (13.1 miles), and a 10K are available, as well as a 1K for children.
