Green Light on the Horizon: New Traffic Signal at Hunt Highway and AZ Farms Intersection Going Live on July 26!

roadwork-1200

Pinal County Public Works has provided a schedule of the remaining work on the Hunt Highway and Arizona Farms intersection project. Residents are advised to expect changes in traffic patterns and potential delays in these areas.

On July 25, crews will pave the remaining portion of Arizona Farms Road. This task will require flagger operations, which may result in temporary traffic delays. Motorists are asked to be patient and adhere to instructions from the flaggers to ensure their safety and the safety of the construction crews.

Additionally, between July 24 and July 26, a slurry seal will be applied on Hunt Highway at the Magic Ranch area, in San Tan Valley. This procedure will necessitate lane shifts and intermittent flagger operations. Motorists are advised to stay alert, prepare for unexpected shifts in traffic, and follow posted speed limits. Slurry seal is a crucial step in maintaining and preserving our roadways, and the county appreciates the public's understanding and cooperation.

Finally, on July 26, a new temporary traffic signal at the intersection of Hunt Highway and Arizona Farms will be activated. This will improve traffic flow and increase safety at the busy intersection. Off-duty officers will be present on-site to assist with the transition and ensure a smooth process for drivers.
